On 21st June 2018, our students and faculty celebrated “International Yoga Day” or Vishwa Yoga diwas enthusiastically in the college.
Yoga basically means union of body, mind and soul. Due to regular practice of Yoga, our body, mind and energies get aligned in such a way that our health will flourish, mind will be peaceful. An individual starts growing spiritually. Considering the recent stressful lifestyle of students in general, it is really imperative for all to practice yoga daily.
At our college, we celebrated the day with lots of enthusiasm from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm in the fourth floor studio with a great participation of students and faculty.
After the introduction of Yoga as an ancient Indian tradition for general well being and healing, the session started with various types of Pranayam followed by Yogasanas, which ended with meditation (dhyan).
The session was conducted and guided by our faculty Prof. Bhudev Yadav with the help of group of students.
